Night of Snow

Here on Church Street, we spent the night watching the snow fall. Everyone was snug and warm while the winds howled and the snow blew its fury over our small town.

There was something both comforting and forlorn about the single light from our neighbors shining through the trees and snow. I wanted to capture the odd marriage of stillness and motion that a storm like this creates–no cars on the road, no people walking about, yet there is the constant motion and energy of snow blowing everywhere. Motion and calm. What wonderful inspiration for an evening wrap! Check back to see our motion and calm wrap, coming soon.
